If ever a new design commission could be said to be 'a delight to build' the Aqua X-Plore 870 inland waterways (12 passenger) launch is the definitive answer.

Our client's pre-occupation with protecting the environment and natural habitat of Broadland wildlife was of paramount importance.

"The least noise and disturbance to surface water and shoreline embankments, the better we like it", was their first priority. "Everything must be left as we found it", was a second prerequisite we could not ignore. In our endeavours to meet these critical objectives, we tested our boat designer's and craftsmens' build skills to the extreme – and gained the admiration and respect of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust.

Aqua X-Plore 870 boats are fitted with an electric engine (diesel is optional) and seating for 12 passengers within an uncluttered glass fibre hull. There is no additional cockpit superstructure, but weatherproof canopies can be built and fitted, if required.

Through its simplistic design we have kept operational and maintenance costs down to a minimum. Aqua X-Plore 870 can and will access the most inaccessible and overgrown inland waterways' shorelines without disturbing a single blade of grass... or any wildlife.

It is perfect for tourism, nature trail explorations and birdwatching, as well as ideally suited for ferry operators, and harbour master launches for toll collections and the ferrying of yachtsman.

The concept has been carefully crafted to offer naturalist trusts, tourist attractions, safari parks, zoos and charter hire inland waterway operators an ideal vessel for maintaining an eco-balance whilst providing access to wildlife in inaccessible areas.

Commissions can be custom-designed and built to individual specifications, and passenger seating numbers can be expanded considerably. Conservation is our first priority and providing access to the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of many British and overseas inland waterways.
