Pilot Vessel

  • Lochin craft built in association with Lochin Marine International Ltd for Shoreham Port Authority.
  • Pilot vessel designed to push cargo vessels during berthing.
  • Debuted at the SeaWork 2014 commercial vessel show in Southhampton and went into service straight from the show.

Harbour Launch

  • The Rye pilot boat/harbour launch ‘Rother IV’ is based on the Lochin 366 hull.
  • She is designed for towing within the harbour, as a harbour launch and for speed at sea when acting as the pilot launch.
  • She is fitted with special propellers and is strengthened in strategic areas for her towing and pushing role.

Police launch

  • Specialist police launch based on Lochin 366 hull and fitted with a custom-designed wheelhouse
  • Electronic fitout and comfortable accommodation for 4 or more, with separate workstations in the wheelhouse.
  • Twin Cummins QSB 5.9 engines – each 425hp at 3,000 rpm.
  • Fitted with man overboard platform designed by Goodchild Marine for any new or existing commercial craft.
