Goodchild Marine's state-of-the-art, purpose-designed workshops can accommodate vessels up to 25 metres in length. They facilitate new build, renovation and major or minor repair projects... cost-effectively. We employ teams of engineers, craftsmen and project managers who have hundreds of years' combined experience at meeting the British Marine Federation's exacting standards.

Goodchild Marine actively supports the BSS (Boat Safety Scheme). Our reputation for quality and reliability precedes us in every facet of boat-building and repair work.

New Build

Goodchild Marine are proud of our track record: new build commissions include Port and Harbour Authorities' Pilot Boats, Catamarans, Offshore Windfarm Workboats, Inland Waterways Electric Engine Launches, Charter Sight-Seeing Vessels, Coastal Fishing Boats and Marine Leisurecraft.

Electrical and Marine Electronics

We continually strive to be innovative and create cost-savings concepts in custom-built vessels. Our marine electrical engineers incorporate state-ofthe-art communication and navigation systems into all wheelhouses as well as design imaginative and functional lighting systems throughout every boat our clients' commission. Installations can be custom-built to a client's exact specifications.

Facilities and resources include:

• Over 30 skilled marine and boat-building engineers and dedicated craftsmen.
• 1,255 sq metres of undercover heated workshops.
• A 32 tonne boat hoist.
• A 2 acre site for easy access, parking and launching.
• Onshore Dry Storage for over 40 craft.
• Carpentry and Fabrication Workshops. A Parts and Accessories Store.
• Marine Engineering Workshops supported by Electronic Marine Engineers onsite. Approved paint application specialists.
• A deep water marina with over 30 berths.
• Winter Storage Facilities.
